Tips for Accurate GST Reports

  • Ensure all contacts with GST registrations have their GSTIN entered correctly in Master Data > Contacts.
  • Set the correct GST Treatment for each contact (Registered, Unregistered, Composition, Overseas, etc.).
  • Each item should have an HSN/SAC code for proper classification.
  • Issue Credit Notes for any corrections to previously issued invoices — do not delete invoices.

Tax Summary Report

The Tax Summary report (under Reports > Tax Summary) gives a simpler view of all taxes collected and paid across a period, grouped by tax rate — useful for quick reconciliation before filing.
